In each of the eight (8) categories, teams are ranked from first to last and points are assigned based on these rankings. As an example, in a 25 team league the team that finishes first in a category earns 25 points, the second place team earns 24 points, and so forth down to the last place team which earns 1 point. This system works for all eight (8) categories, each of which have equal value. The most points a team, in a 25 team league, can accumulate if it won every category is 200 points. Points are recalculated each week to determine league standings. League standings are calculated by ranking your individual team totals.

For ERA and Hit/ Walk Ratio, a smaller number is ranked higher than a larger number. For all other categories , a larger number is ranked higher than the smaller number.

Statistics are accumulated weekly for all 25 players.

Prizes will be awarded the week of November 16, 2008. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes on their prizes.

The first stat week of the season begins with the games played on Opening day of the current baseball season and ends with the games played on the first Sunday after opening day. All other stat weeks begin with games played on Monday and ends with games played on Sunday. Your first team statistical standing report will be available after the second week of the season by that third week's Tuesday.

All statistics accumulated by the players on a teams roster regardless of what position they were playing during the season contribute to a teams statistical totals. Pitchers batting stats do not count and batters pitching stats are also excluded.

You begin getting a players statistics the Monday following the transaction adding him to your team, and stop getting the statistics of the player you dropped at the same time. None of the previous statistics achieved by the player before he was placed on your team will be added to your teams statistical totals. But you do keep any stats accumulated by a player you dropped while he was a member of your team.

Pre-Season, All-Star and Post-Season statistics do not contribute to a team's statistics totals.

League points are calculated by ranking your team's statistic totals versus every other team's totals in your league.
