How to Play Online Blackjack

Casinos online bring the fun and excitement of real live gambling action right into your own home. Thanks to the Internet, you no longer need to plan a special trip to Las Vegas, or whatever casino is closest to you, in order to enjoy your favorite gambling games. You can just flip on your computer and you’re ready to go.

One of the most popular casino gambling games, both in live casinos and online, is blackjack. Blackjack is popular for its simplicity. If you can do basic math, you can play blackjack.

To play blackjack online, go to any online casino site. If you haven’t already, downloaded the necessary software. Some sites allow you to play without downloading software, but many players find that way does not provide the full experience and smoothness of play. Find the blackjack link once you’re signed in to your casino account. Blackjack is a popular casino game, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Once you’re at a table, simply drag as many chips as you wish to bet into the betting circle, providing the amount fits within the minimum and maximum allowed at the table. You’ll receive two cards face up, and the dealer will receive two cards, but only one will be showing.

You then have the option to click hit, stand or double. If you hit, you will receive another card, and can continue to take hits unless you bust by going over 21. If you bust, the hand is over and the dealer wins. If you double, you get one additional card for double your bet and it is the dealer’s turn. If you stand, it is the dealer’s turn. The dealer will then reveal his down card and hit until his total is over 16. If the dealer does not bust, whoever is closest to 21 wins. If you win, you are paid even money on your bet.

Consider these few other simple rules rules. If your two cards have the same point total, you will be given the option to split. If you split, you put up an equal bet to your initial bet, and your cards become the basis for two new hands. You then play normally as if you have two hands instead of one. If the dealer’s up card is an ace, you will get the option of “insurance.” Insurance costs you half a bet, and if the dealer has blackjack, you break even on the hand. If you have blackjack, or 21, on your first two cards, you are paid off at better than the usual even money, typically 3-to-2. That’s all there is to it! You’re ready to play online blackjack
